On the International Day Against Trafficking in Persons, 30 July 2018, URAT launched a three-day summer awareness campaign in Vlorë to inform the public about the realities of human trafficking in Albania. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined the initiative. The campaign is part of the wider UN.Gift Box Anti-Trafficking Campaign, a travelling, interactive exhibition URAT has brought to cities across Albania — including Tirana, Durrës and Saranda — and, later that year, across the border to Prizren, Kosovo. Through hands-on information stands, it helps the public recognise the warning signs of trafficking and know where to turn for help, timed each summer to reach both residents and the seasonal visitors who fill Albania's coastal towns like Vlorë.
